In your internship as trainee animator, you will have responsibilities during the day linked to the organization in fitness or sport activities, working with children, guiding clients or just helping serving them in the hotel.
You will have a person in charge of your training that will lead and teach you your functions related with animation.
In the evening there are other types of activities that you may need to help organizing, such as: traditional, dancing , comedy, or game shows.
The intern must have the capacity to work with different groups of people: children, adolescents, adults, etc, in order to organize activities that link the guests with the surroundings and the community.
The intern will have to suggest, organize and realize entertainment programs, taking into account interests, likes, preferences and motivations of the guests, as to provide them with an enjoyable activity. In order to create activities successfully, the trainee has to coordinate with other departments of the establishment for the distribution of material and equipment needed.
This internship will allow the student to manage concepts and conversations in the service area of animation. The intern can strengthen English and Portuguese language in the work context of entertainment and eventually improve communication skills outside the workplace environment.

Students can spend their leisure time as they love. There are many beautiful beaches in the coast with water sport possibilities and beach parties. Portugal is rich of historical monuments, picturesque landscape and nightlife spots. During the summer in some cases and if there is enough interests agency arranges other cities visit tours. Students can see the country, museums and ancient monuments.
