Reception and Public relation trainee, is an entry-level media and public relation professional responsible for providing support to PR department and senior by performing various activities and tasks in order to maintain and enhance the perception of client among various internal and external audiences.


  • Answer phones and operate a switchboard, route calls to specific people. Answer inquiries about hotel. Greet visitors warmly and make sure they are comfortable, call persons waiting for visitor and book them a room to meet in. Schedule meetings and conference rooms, also make coffee and set out food. Ensure reception area is tidy, coordinate mail flow in and out of office, gather personal and insurance information. Send email and faxes, collect and distribute parcels and other mail, perform basic bookkeeping, filing, and clerical duties. Take and relay messages. Update appointment calendars, schedule follow-up appointments.

-Area Description

Fuerteventura, the second largest of Spain’s Canary Islands, sits in the Atlantic Ocean 100km off the north coast of Africa. It’s known primarily as a holiday destination due to its white-sand beaches and year-round warmth cooled by constant winds. The multitude of beaches that wrap around it are interrupted by cliffs and sheltered coves. It's popular for water sports, especially surfing, windsurfing and waterskiing.


Everybody is eligible to work in hotels, however the program is highly beneficial for those studying a degree related to tourism and hospitality industry. Previous work experience in the same field is considered a huge advantage. We are looking for open-minded people who are ready to work and are willing to meet new challenges in their life.

-Curriculum Activities

Fuerteventura is an ideal place for a quiet and measured beach holiday. The best on the Canary Islands multikilometer beaches with light fine sand are the visiting card and the main attraction of this island. On the coast, in place of sand hills, new hotels are growing: the market responds adequately to the increasing number of tourists. Most of the tourists, many of whom arrive here not for the first time, go to the Jandia peninsula and Corralejo, the main resort centers of the island. The steady wind made Fuerteventura world-famous windsurfing center.

-Work Day

You will be working 8 hours per day with a break for your meal. There are different shifts at the hotel so you may be working in the morning,evening or night shift. You might have a straight shift (work 8 hours in arow) or a split-shift (work 4 hours first and after a break work another 4 hours).
