Founded in 1838, Acadia University is a public university located in Wolfville, Nova Scotia.The university’s mission is to provide a personalised and rigorous liberal education and inspire students to become critical thinkers, lifelong learners, engaged citizens and responsible global leaders.Though a small university, students can choose from more than 200 degree combinations in the faculty of arts, the faculty of pure and applied science, the faculty of professional studies and the faculty of theology.The campus has a number of neo-classical historic buildings such as Carnegie Hall and Seminary House.
