Beirut Arab University, founded in 1960, has grown to encompass four campuses and 10 faculties. It offers 37 undergraduate programmes and 131 postgraduate programmes to students from Lebanon and other countries. In addition to Lebanese students, about 3,500 non-Lebanese students join BAU every year. Our strategy is to ensure that student engagement is positive and beneficial and will consequently enhance the quality of life in the region. Our location in the centre of the capital Beirut, a world heritage site, is one of the defining characteristics of the university.
