These programmes are five-year integrated courses offered to undergraduate students at the end of third year. The PG Student Status Programme was set up to encourage professionals in the Hyderabad area to study on a part time basis. The programme allows students to take up to two individual courses each semester, without needing to enrol in a degree programme. The university is structured around research centres and laboratories rather than schools and departments. These centres include the Applied Artificial Intelligence Research Centre, the Centre for Security, Theory and Algorithms, and the Earthquake Engineering Research Centre.
