Located at the foot of the Rocky Mountains, the Johnson & Wales-Denver (JWU Denver) campus is smallest of the four JWU campuses and was established in 2000.The 25-acre campus is home to more than half of the students currently enrolled at JWU Denver, with a total student population of more than 1,300.There are six residence halls, a large academic centre, as well as a range of industry-level facilities to help students to excel in their chosen field.Like the other JWU campuses there are three academic schools - the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Culinary Arts, and the College of Management. Culinary studies are the most popular type of degree program, followed by hospitality and business studies. The location of the Denver campus presents students with a range of opportunities. With 300 days of sunshine every year, students have the chance to enjoy the outdoors with options including hiking, camping, and biking excursions. The Denver city centre is easily accessible too, and as a hub for tourism, finance and manufacturing, the city offers a huge variety of things to do.The experiential education programs offered at JWU Denver result in a lot of students gaining industry experience during their studies, and connections with leading companies give students a great start to their careers.
