Prince Sultan University was originally established in 1998 as Prince Sultan College. In 2003 the Ministry of Higher Education granted the college university status and it became Prince Sultan University. It was the first private university in Saudi Arabia.The university is located in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.The university is organised into five academic colleges: business administration, computer and information sciences, engineering, humanities, and law. Each college offers a range of both undergraduate and graduate degree programmes.The Research and Initiatives Centre was set up to encourage, inspire and nurture research activities at the university. Research findings are published in the PSU Research Review: An International Journal. The university currently has 10 research labs and groups, 10 research projects, and 405 journal publications.The International Affairs Office is responsible for overseeing the university’s partnerships with higher education institutions around the world. These partnerships provide students with the opportunity to study abroad in countries such as the US, Spain, Ireland, Italy, Poland and Malaysia.At the heart of the university are three key values: proactivity, service and positivity.
