Texas A & M University-Kingsville opened its gates in 1925, which makes it the oldest continuously operating university in South Texas, US. Although it started off as a Teachers College, it soon broadened its academic focus to become a fully-fledged university.The institution is situated in Kingsville, a city of 25,000 and the home of King Ranch - the largest ranch in Texas.
