We are looking for a skilled cook to prepare delicious meals according to menu. You will cook dishes that will delight our customers with their taste and timely delivery. As a cook you must be able to follow instructions in cooking and delivering well-prepared meals. You must be deft in moving around the kitchen and apt in multi-tasking. Experience in using various ingredients and cooking techniques is also important and beneficial.
-Duties
As a cook, your main duties will include: Setting up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment, preparing ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.), cooking food in various utensils or grillers, keeping the workstation clean and communicating with the restaurant workers.

-Requirements
Everybody is eligible in working in hotels, but the program is highly beneficial for those studying a degree related to tourism and hospitality. Previous work experience in the same field is considered an advantage.
-Curriculum Activities
You can spend your spare time as you like. There are many places to visit in Barcelona. In Barcelona, even the beach is bustling, but it's really the cosmopolitan city that gets all the attention. Much of the activity revolves around Las Ramblas, a series of narrow streets and alleys packed with restaurants, nightclubs and a vibrant pedestrian market. But you should also take a tour of Antoni GaudĂ's masterpieces; GaudĂ is responsible for sites like Casa MilĂ , Casa BatllĂł and La Sagrada Familia. Also popular places to visit are: Guell Park, Boqueria Market, Gothic Quarter, Las Ramblas and Camp Nou Stadium.
-Work Day
You will be working 8 hours per day with a break for your meal. There are different shifts at the hotel so you may be working in the morning, evening or night shift. You might have a straight shift (work 8 hours in a row) or a split-shift (work 4 hours first and after a break work another 4 hours).
